Van Duong Thanh Fine Arts Museum was officially recognized and established by the Ministry of Culture and interdisciplinary ministries 2023, or 20 years of preparing the collection. Nguyen Tu Nghiem's ​​Career

After years 1954, Nguyen Tu Nghiem works for the Vietnam Literature Association. He teaches at Vietnam Fine Arts Intermediate School (Now it is Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts). Nguyen Tu Nghiem has created a large number of works in approx 70 year.

He conducted experiments, Research and work on many materials, such as lacquer, paint, gouache and graphite. Nguyen Tu Nghiem created a special art style by studying ethnic art and integrating the past with modernity.. His paintings are loved and collected by domestic and foreign artists.

This artist is solemnly classified as one of the "Four Pillars" of the second generation of Vietnamese modern art.
