Female artist Van Duong Thanh brought paintings of artist Bui Xuan Phai to the exhibition “Sound of silence”

Exhibition “Sound of silence” (The sound of silence) by artist Van Duong Thanh has just opened in Hanoi. The exhibition displays a new set of paintings by artist Van Duong Thanh, including 40 cran, Beautiful nature, Hanoi Old Quarter and Portrait of famous historical figures.
Especially, viewers will admire the portrait of Van Duong Thanh by the artist Bui Xuan Phai. The work was displayed at the Swedish National Fine Arts Museum (year 2000) And this is the first time to debut in Vietnam. The painting exhibition takes place on the classical music background by famous Romanian artist Iulian Ochescu.
The exhibition takes place at V-Art Space, floor 1, Ciputra Club, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi, from the date 30/3 – 15/5.
Painter Van Duong Thanh was born in Phu Yen, Growing up in Hanoi, each study 12 years at Vietnam University of Fine Arts. From then until now, She lived and taught painting in Sweden and Vietnam. Her works were awarded by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, was collected by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum for the first time when she was new 20 year old.
Many works of Van Duong Thanh have been collected by art platforms in the world such as the Nehru Museum, Beijing Ethnology Museum, Singapore Fine Arts Museum, IASI National Fine Arts Museum, Friedrich Chopin museum ...
Painter Van Duong Thanh is known as one of the talented artists of Asia. The author has displayed at 16 National Museum in the world. She was once sent by President Obama to the time when he was incumbent.
