| Known as one of Asia's talented artists, Van Duong Thanh grew up in Hanoi and studied 12 years at Vietnam University of Fine Arts. Afterward, She works at the Cultural Research Institute, Ministry of Culture from five 1981 to the year 1987. Working and teaching art in both Sweden and Vietnam.
Her works were first collected by the Vietnam National Museum when she 20 tuổi. Since then, Many of her works have been 13 National Fine Arts Museum in many countries like Vietnam, Thailand, India, China, Singapore, Ba Lan, Rumania, Moldavia, Spain and Sweden collected. Over 1.800 painting and 85 personal exhibition, She has inspired many domestic and international art lovers; especially students, student, children and people with disabilities. Van Duong Thanh's art has increased friendship and understanding between Vietnam and international friends. Many of her works have been chosen as national gifts for heads of state. |
She was the first Vietnamese person recruited programme Excellent art international of CFMI – Snecma, USA – France twice every year 1995, 1997 and “Glory of Vietnam” year 2007 at the Temple of Literature, Awarded by the International Women's Leadership Network 2018 – 2019.
Van Duong Thanh's art has increased the friendship and understanding of Vietnamese people with international friends.
