Artist Van Duong Thanh will have an opening ceremony for her Art Van Duong Thanh Gallery. The opening of this gallery marks her return to her mother’s land and this time she would like to bring to domestic and international art-lovers a collection of her newest paintings. Also shown are collections of her old paintings from 1990s, which have been exhibited in Europe and Singapore, and now brought back to Vietnam.
With vibrant color contrast and distinctive motif of abstraction, this exhibition is part of the this year’s celeberations of Hanoi’s 1.000 years history.
Also on display is a collection of paintings by Vietnamese Master painters and friends of Van Duong Thanh, such as Bui Xuan Phai, Nguyen Tu Nghiem, Tran Luu Hau, Nguyen Thu etc.
